Dr. Susy Hota is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, where she also serves as Division Head of Infectious Diseases. She is a Clinician Investigator at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, focusing on infectious diseases, infection control, and clinical epidemiology. Dr. Hota co-leads the Microbiota Therapeutics Outcomes Program (MTOP), which has demonstrated the efficacy of fecal microbiota transplantation in treating recurrent Clostridium difficile infections. She also co-sponsors UHNWomen, a program dedicated to empowering women within the healthcare sector.
