The 2025 MSE Summit is a virtual working event for anyone invested in the intersection of microbiomes, social equity, and environmental health. Whether you’re a researcher, policymaker, student, or community advocate, we welcome your participation.
How It Works
Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 July will feature open-access webinar sessions and anyone can register to attend these right away.
Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 July are reserved for interactive workshops. These sessions have limited capacity and require an application. If you’d like to be considered for a place in a workshop, you’ll need to complete a short application form. You can do this before or after registering for the Monday/Tuesday sessions — but please note:
🛑 Workshop tickets are only available if your application has been reviewed and approved.
Apply to Join a Workshop
If you are interested in taking part in the workshops, please complete the application form here:
You’ll be asked which session(s) you’d like to attend and what you hope to contribute. Please take the time to provide thoughtful, specific responses — general statements like “upgrade my microbiology knowledge” are unlikely to be selected. Facilitators are looking for people who are ready to engage fully in collaborative, practical discussions.
Choosing Your Ticket
To make the summit as accessible as possible, we’re offering a sliding scale registration model. You’ll be asked to select the option that best fits your situation. No explanation is needed.
Paid registrations help cover essential costs such as speaker honoraria, event delivery, and administrative support. They also support the long-term sustainability of the MSE group and its initiatives. If you're able to pay, we appreciate your contribution. If not, please don’t hesitate to take the no-cost option. We would much rather have you with us than have cost be a barrier.
Ticket Options
